JavaScript Job: Front End Engineer

Sygnum relies heavily on a JavaScript based tech stack – for user interfaces we use React (TypeScript) but also on the backend we are strong on JavaScript by using NestJS or Lamda functions. You can expect building upon REST interfaces which connect your UI with blockchain, crypto-vaults, trading platforms or banking backends. That’s why we are special – you are able bring your skills to new frontiers by taking on challenges which involve frontend as well as backend development, and discover WEB3 APIs to build next gen user interfaces.

Tasks

• Create reactive frontends based on our tech-stack (TypeScript, React, NestJs on AWS, Lambda, etc.).
• Integrate designs and wireframes withing the application code.
• Take responsibility of our component libraries and application code.
• Cooperate with UX/UI experts and strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions.
• Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements and support prototypes for new component and product ideas.
• Testing of new ideas before implementing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field – e.g. computer science.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and ReactJs and related technologies (JSX, Virtual DOM, components, Redux, Node & npm, headless CMS etc.), strong on fundamentals of web technologies (HTML/CSS, REST, NodeJS).
• Experience and references as a Frontend-Engineer or similar.
• Understanding microservices, event driven APIs and being able to cover simple backend functionality in TypeScript – e.g. NestJs, Flux, lambda or cloud functions.
• Understanding the development lifecycle and its technologies – Git, CI/CD tools, unit testing, vulnerability.
• A plus would be understanding of web3 or blockchain technologies or APIs.
